Dr. Emily Harper has been one of Cherokee County’s strongest voices for health education and community wellness. As a family physician and public health advocate, Emily has tirelessly devoted herself to improving the health of local families through prevention, education, and compassionate care.

She founded the Cherokee Healthy Homes Initiative, a volunteer-driven program that provides free wellness screenings, mental health resources, and health education workshops for low-income households. Her efforts have directly helped hundreds of residents gain access to life-improving medical guidance.

Emily’s commitment to supporting families, empowering moms and young adults with knowledge, and promoting early detection has saved lives and strengthened community health. The Be Proud Awards honors her for her leadership, service, and unwavering commitment to Cherokee County’s well-being.
